Subject: | OS 3.5 and Picasso II |
I finally just decided to reformat my drive on my A2000 and install 3.1
and 3.5 from scratch. Everything went smooth up to getting the video
card configured. I use Picasso96 as my driver and I did not load the
original Picasso II drivers from disk, I loaded Picasso96 from the Amiga
OS 3.5 cd-rom. My first attempt was unsuccessful because I had the card
configured for segmentation. I opened the jumper removing the
segmentation and was able to get Picasso96 installed with no problems. I
set my rate to the highest, I think 67htz. I have a multiscan 17"
monitor that worked fine with Picasso before. Also, I have an original
Picasso II card with 1mb on board. I'm hoping someone out that familiar
with this board can help me.
When I open Picasso Mode, the card appears in the list but all options
are greyed out. The program asked me to attach to a card but hen I go
under the attach menu, there is no board listed. The error message I
receive when I boot up is:
Couldn't create graphics board context for "Picasso-II"
Please check your Picasso 96 installation.
Any help would be appreciated. NTSC hi-res is not to pleasant on a 17"
monitor.
